Farid Virani
CEO, Prime Communications
Farid is a serial entrepreneur who enjoys learning and investing in retail, real estate, and emerging industries. In 1999, he founded Prime Communications, starting with a single store in Houston. Under his leadership, Prime has grown to over 2,500 locations, becoming the largest AT&T Authorized Retailer in the United States and expanding into Canada and Mexico.
Farid is also actively engaged in the local community working closely and supporting organizations such as The Faris Foundation, Rice University, SEARCH Homeless Services, Texas Children’s Hospital, and Teach for America. His family’s commitment to education led to the founding of the Virani Undergraduate School of Business. He is also a longstanding member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
