Faria Dhamani

Faria Dhamani serves as Chief Operating Officer at Good Reason Houston, where she leads the organization’s internal strategy and operations to ensure the team, systems, and resources are aligned to advance economic mobility through public education in Houston. In her role, she oversees finance, people and talent, operations, risk management, and enterprise strategic planning, and she is passionate about her in building the infrastructure and organizational discipline required to translate ambitious goals into sustained impact.

Faria’s work sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and organizational health. She is deeply committed to building strong teams and systems that enable mission-driven organizations to operate with clarity, accountability, and purpose, ensuring bold ideas can translate into meaningful, lasting outcomes for students and communities.

Before entering nonprofit leadership, Faria worked as a management consultant specializing in organizational systems design and implementation, and she began her career in corporate philanthropy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Human Rights from Barnard College and an MBA from Rice University.

A native Houstonian, she is proud to contribute to efforts that expand access to high-quality education and economic opportunity for students in her hometown.
