Chris Mersinger

Chris Mersinger is CFO of Vaughn Construction, a Texas-based general contractor focused on complex projects in the higher education, healthcare, research, and civic sectors.

Previously, Chris was a Vice President at CSL Capital Management overseeing private investments in their energy focused private equity fund, an investment banker with Lazard in their energy advisory practice based in Houston, and prior to that a CPA with PwC.

Chris started his career as a military intelligence officer in the US Army where he completed a tour in Iraq. Chris currently serves as an innovation officer in the Army Reserves in support of military modernization efforts.

Chris holds a BBA in Accounting and MS in Finance from Texas A&M University and MBA from Rice University.

He resides in Houston with his wife, Emily, and three young children. He enjoys fishing, woodworking, and other outdoors activities that allows him to spend time with his family.
