Cecilia Prieto

Cecilia Prieto is president of Well Construction at SLB, where she leads the global strategy, performance and operations of the division delivering industry-leading technologies and services for the design, drilling and construction of oil and gas wells. With more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector, she has held senior leadership roles across engineering, manufacturing, research and development, and operations. She previously led Well Construction Measurements, SLB’s largest business line. Cecilia has managed organizations across North and South America and Europe and has served on the company’s leadership team. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT and is a named inventor on patents for advanced well construction and downhole technologies. She is recognized for driving innovation by aligning technology, digital capabilities and operations with business strategy.
