What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
Most of my experience in the Rice MBA is expected because I researched the program and the U.S. full-time MBA experience in general. What surprised me the most is the level of excellence of my classmates, and the amount of effort it requires to keep up with them.
What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
My favorite moment of my Rice MBA experience so far is presenting my team's business plan in a case competition. That is the first time I saw the new knowledge and skills I have learned in business school come together and transform my way of thinking about business and presenting my ideas.
What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
My favorite spot in Houston is the Black Walnut Cafe in Rice Village, they have great food and coffee and is my favorite off-campus study spot.
In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
The campus visit is very important, it's the best way for you to experience and evaluate whether the school is a fit for you.
