What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
The rigor of the first semester definitely came as a surprise. The first few months on campus included recruiting, schoolwork, club involvement and other extracurricular activities. It definitely was a good lesson in time management.

What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
My favorite moments were definitely seeing my friends and classmates get summer internships over the course of the year. I know firsthand how much effort everyone has put in inside and outside of the classroom, and it is very gratifying to see all the hard work pay off.

What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
I love the food in Houston -- solid in variety and quality. Too many places to list out!

In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Come rested and ready to go! The MBA is a challenging but rewarding experience, so try to use these two years to figure out what is important to you and how you can spend this time to get to your goals!
