Favorite quote and why:
'Don't Quit.' I've heard this since childhood. This has helped me in many moments where I questioned myself initially but eventually ended accomplishing the goals. I've found it to be a powerful tool on many occasions.
If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor and why?
I'd pick Elon Musk. He's not just a visionary and an innovator. His ability to commit resources towards realizing revolutionary ideas from obscurity into a tangible product and experience, speaks volume about potential of technology in improving overall life and huge business opportunities in the future.
Best memory from your first year in the MBA program:
There are so many. From some of the wittiest comments in the class, the late nights during immersion and Sunday evenings spent with my teammates, the weekly PCF's (that newcomers will get to know shortly) and the company treks, it's hard pick one.
What story does your family always tell about you?
My family would definitely emphasize my never ending curiosity to question status-quo and learn new things. They'd mention my love for dogs, Sudoku and sometimes singing a tune.
What advice would you like to provide incoming students?
Get to know your cohort well because they'll make it the most fun experience. Speak up in class, not just for participation grades but to find your voice in the middle of smart people. Be open to ideas and not to forget, read WSJ.
