What has been the most surprising part of your Rice MBA? The academic intensity of the program especially after working in the energy industry for quite some time. I'm also surprised about the huge support I got from my teammates, helping me get back on my feet after suffering setbacks due to my late resumption.

What has been your favorite thing about your MBA experience? Networking; I have been able to network across industries with recruiters, the full-time MBA and the executive MBA students.

What do you love most about Houston? The weather and the food. The weather is rather unpredictable but tends to be warmer than most parts of North America. Houston also has a variety of restaurants with plenty of options to choose from.

What is one piece of advice you would share with a prospective? Be very open minded and allow yourself to soak in the experience, also try to network as quickly as possible.
