WHY DID YOU CHOOSE RICE BUSINESS?

Houston is where I'm from, and my family is here. Family support is very important to me, and as an MD/MBA student, Rice Business' proximity and connections to the Texas Medical Center made it the clear choice.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE OUR FULL-TIME MBA PROGRAM?

I'm interested in exploring and learning more about the business side of healthcare.

HOW ARE YOU FEELING ABOUT STARTING YOUR MBA? WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO?

Excited! I am looking forward to utilizing the resources provided to broaden my horizons, as I have spent the past three years rotating in hospitals or in lecture halls.

HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE DURING LAUNCH WEEK? WHAT WERE YOUR FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THE PROGRAM AND YOUR CLASSMATES?

I loved it! It was long and exhausting, but the strategy class was really fun. I think our program has a lot of opportunities to explore, and it's a matter of what you want to prioritize. Sometimes I feel like I don't have enough time to do everything. My classmates are great and come from all sorts of interesting backgrounds. It's nice to have a life outside of medicine!
