MBA@Rice Scholarship Fund

In the spirit of paying it forward and with appreciation for their transformative experience at Rice, Chinenye Ozougwu '23, along with her fellow MBA@Rice classmates, established the MBA@Rice Scholarship Fund at graduation last year. This ambitious initiative, born from a shared commitment to education and accessibility, is aimed at providing essential tuition support to future MBA@Rice scholars. Chinenye, with cofounders Emily Corwin '23, Antonio Cruz '23, Chaundra Frank '22, Erin Hulme ‘23, Trent Kostenuk '23, Shane Lee '23 and Lu Wang '23, raised $50,000 to kickstart the scholarship.

Today, as proud Rice Business alumni, these founders extend an invitation to the entire MBA@Rice community to contribute to this scholarship fund. Their foresight and generosity embody the essence of leadership and the pay-it-forward culture deeply ingrained in the Rice Business community.

With a goal of reaching $100,000 in contributions, the MBA@Rice Scholarship Fund is on its way to becoming a permanently endowed fund at Rice Business. This enduring legacy will offer perpetual support, expanding over time to assist future students in achieving their educational dreams.

Join us in contributing to the MBA@Rice Scholarship Fund, and cement your place in the legacy of Rice Business. Together, we can pave the way for future leaders and innovators, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of excellence in education.

It is a great honor to count myself among the alumni of the exceptional MBA@Rice program. The rigorous academic journey, enriched by deep connections with my peers and inspirational mentors, ignited my passion for leading with a service-oriented heart. I'm thrilled to contribute to the legacy of Rice Business by initiating the inaugural MBA@Rice Scholarship Fund.
