Joe Robles Major General Joe Robles, Jr., USA (Ret.) served as the chief executive officer and president of USAA Federal Savings Bank from December 2007 until his retirement in February 2015. Before joining USAA in 1994, he served as a career officer in the U.S. Army. Maj. General Robles currently serves on the boards of The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas – San Antonio Branch and DTE Energy, and he holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Kent University and an MBA from Indiana State University. Scott Rowe R. Scott Rowe was named president and chief executive officer of Cameron International on October 5, 2015. Before joining Cameron in 2002, Mr. Rowe served in the U.S. Army and worked for Varco as a project manager. Mr. Rowe holds a B.S. degree in engineering management from the United States Military Academy (West Point) and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Cameron
Thomas Kolditz Brigadier General Thomas Kolditz, USA (Ret.), is the founding executive director of the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University. Prior to joining Rice in 2015, he designed and directed the core Leader Development Program at the Yale School of Management, served as the chairman of the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at West Point, and was the founding director of the West Point Leadership Center. He earned a bachelor’s, several master’s and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. Doer Institute

Directions to Rice University’s McNair Hall

From US 59:
  1. If traveling North, take Kirby exit and continue on feeder to reach Greenbriar. (Shepherd/Greenbriar exit is closed coming from this direction).
  2. If traveling South, take Shepherd/Greenbriar exit.
  3. Turn onto Greenbriar traveling South (Greenbriar is a one-way street).
  4. Turn left on Rice Boulevard.
  5. Turn right onto campus at Entrance 20. The cross street is Kent.
  6. At the second stop sign (which is Laboratory Road), turn right; the large building on the left is McNair Hall. The ramp down to the Central Campus Garage is on the left just after passing McNair Hall.
From Downtown Houston:
  1. Take Main Street to Rice
  2. Turn right onto Sunset Boulevard stay left as street turns into Rice Boulevard.
  3. Look for campus Entrance 20; turn left into that entrance.
  4. At the second stop sign (which is Laboratory Road), turn right.
  5. The large building on the left is McNair Hall. The ramp down to the Central Campus Garage is on the left just after passing McNair Hall.

Parking in Central Campus Garage
Once you have entered the Central Campus Garage, take a ticket at the turret machine. We will give you a payment ticket that will allow you to park for free. Once you have parked, take one of the elevators or the stairs up to the school. Note: McNair Hall and the Central Campus Garage have different elevators and different stairs.
