Investment Partners

Trusted partners to take the next step with you.

The past successes of Rice Business alumni who have acquired and successfully run companies has helped create a network of supporters and investment partners. The network consisting of alumni and friends of the business school provides equity capital and subordinated debt to help alumni who may not otherwise qualify meet the requirement of senior lenders for SBA and other types of acquisition loans.

This vast network also provides advice and connections to support resources including; legal, accounting, marketing, strategy and other advisors. The network helps open doors to obtain new clients and customers for the acquired company.

The two biggest challenges to successfully acquiring a company are finding a suitable business and raising capital. The hard work and diligence of finding prospective businesses and qualifying them is up to the Rice Business student or alumni entrepreneur. Once found, investment partners are available to help meet equity requirements in qualified acquisitions.

The investment partners add additional value by working closely with the entrepreneurs on their searches, negotiations and management of the acquired companies.
