PNC Bank Joins Rice Business Partners Corporate Member Community

PNC Bank

PNC Bank became the most recent company to join Rice Business Partners as a member this year. PNC has been doing business in Houston for some time with its Energy team, but formalized its broader presence in the market eighteen months ago as part of its national expansion strategy. Jones Graduate School of Business alum, Julie Young Sudduth (‚Äė01), is leading PNC‚Äôs efforts as its Regional President for Central and South Texas.

While PNC’s recent expansion focused on its Corporate & Institutional Banking group, the business community’s positive reception of the bank has opened the door to bringing additional business lines to Houston, including Institutional Asset Management, Public Finance, Retail banking, Healthcare and Solebury/Trout.

PNC has a legacy of supporting the communities it serves. Last year, PNC committed over $500,000 in grants to Houston area non-profits, specifically focused on early childhood education and the arts.  PNC is making a long-term investment in Houston, and part of that investment is providing the critical resources the Houston community needs.

More than 42 companies currently support the Rice Business Partners and their initiative to open doors, increase collaboration and build ties between Rice Business and the Houston business community.
