What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
The thing that surprised me the most is how easy it is to bring change. Our class requested to mix the sections after the first semester and school did it immediately. Similarly, Rice immediately came on board with the Owl Voice program to make it easier for students to raise concerns/suggestions. I have not seen or heard of this kind of administration before.

What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
My favorite Rice MBA experience so far is International Partio. I learned a lot about my classmates and their culture in this event. I realized how diverse and inclusive the Rice Business community is.

What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
My favorite thing is food. Houston is so diverse and you can get authentic cuisines. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Houston.

In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Everyone here has a unique background and story. Don't be afraid to try out new things and find your own path.
