Keith Jennings

Lecturer in Management - Finance

H. Keith Jennings (Keith) is currently Vice President, Finance of Eastman Chemical Company, a Fortune 300 global specialty chemical company that generates over $9.5 billion in annual revenues. He is responsible for all financial planning and analysis activities for the Business Segments, Corporate FP&A and global manufacturing operations. From August 2016 to May 2018, Keith was Vice President & Treasurer with the responsibilities for developing and recommending long term financing and capital structure strategies, risk management strategies for foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity price exposures, pension investments, corporate property and liability insurance programs and corporate credit risks.

Keith served as Vice President and Treasurer at Cameron International Corporation from June 2009 until Cameron’s acquisition by Schlumberger Limited in April 2016. After starting as the Corporate Treasurer in June 2009, his responsibilities expanded into leading a group of departments that governed the financial risk management functions of the company. From the announcement of the merger in August 2015 to the closure of the transaction, Keith also served as the Finance Function’s Transition Leader, responsible for the successful integration of the Finance function across the two companies.

Prior to Cameron, Keith served from 2007 to 2009 as the Corporate Treasurer for Alghanim Industries (AI), a family office funded private investment organization and a multinational corporation operating in the Middle-east and Asia. AI had annual operating revenues of ~$2.0 billion and an investment portfolio of ~$7 billion consisting of publicly traded securities and private investments. During his tenure, he was responsible for building a global treasury department and leading the Financial Evaluations team that valued, risk assessed and structured investments and/or divestures. Keith led the effort to restructure the balance sheet to prepare the company for strategic alternatives, such as an initial public offering of all or part of the enterprise.

Earlier, he served in a variety of senior treasury and finance roles with PepsiCo Inc., Ingersoll-Rand and Monsanto Company.

Mr. Jennings holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (B.Comm) from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) thru the institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario Canada.

Keith was named to Treasury and Risk Magazine’s 2009 “Top 40 under 40” list of America’s outstanding financial executives. He served (2014-2017) as an advisory member of the Finance Committee of KIPP Houston Public Schools and is a Finance Lecturer at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
