Associate Director, Career Education and Advising

Erin develops and implements instructional programming related to career development and the job search. Through one-on-one career coaching, she empowers Rice Business MBA students to achieve their personalized career goals. Erin specializes in strategic networking and creates opportunities for students to effectively engage with the Rice Business alumni community and more. Prior to joining the Career Development Office, she worked at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in both External Affairs and Students Affairs. During her five years at Wharton, Erin was able to provide innovative program, motivational speaking, strategic networking, young alumni engagement, and complete her Master in Higher Education at the University of Pennsylvania. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in international business from Oklahoma State University, she relocated from Stillwater, Oklahoma to Houston, Texas, where she started her career in supply chain management for Sumitomo Corporation of America. Through career advancement, Erin went to work for ExxonMobil in Brisbane, Australia and Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in the capacity of staffing advisor and planning team lead.
