Chris Lipp
Communication Coach
Chris Lipp lectures on communication and empowerment in the Engineering School. He is author of two books on persuasion, including Magnetic: How Great Leaders Persuade and Inspire. Chris runs numerous workshops across campus on business communication as well as the weekly Activate program dedicated to supporting graduate students.
With a background in technology and startups, Chris previously lectured and coached corporations in Silicon Valley. His clients include Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Mercedes-Benz. He is a world-renown pitch coach, and frequently works with entrepreneurs in Germany, France, and Singapore. Chris also cofounded Stanford Leaders in Communication, a program which supports Stanford students in effecting change at the science and policy levels.
