Why you should choose Rice for your MAcc degree.
Open to ALL majors
Our Master of Accounting program is different than other graduate accounting programs in that it is tailored to students from varying undergraduate backgrounds. Rice MAcc students have undergraduate degrees in areas ranging from economics to music performance to English to engineering. We have found that this diversity in academic backgrounds creates a richer learning experience for everyone.
Earn your degree in only one year
The Rice MAcc program requires only 10 months of coursework (August to May). In just one year, you’ll gain both the technical skills and soft skills needed to launch your business career. The Rice MAcc gets you educationally qualified to sit for the CPA exam through Texas and most other states. You will gain not only the technical knowledge needed to pass the CPA exam, but also an interdisciplinary understanding of how business and accounting interact.
