THE RICE ADVANTAGE
Rice University Executive Education, our team aspires to createan environment where applied research affects lasting change.
Attending an executive education program is a commitment for the participant and the organization, and at Rice University Executive Education, our team aspires to create an environment where applied research affects lasting change.
At the Jones Graduate School of Business, learning is a lifelong process, and opportunities are provided at many organizational levels and topics to match executives to the program of best fit. In executive education, participants are encouraged to come with questions and challenges, and their program experience will assist them in achieving their goals immediately upon return to work. Through a variety of learning methods, including case study, simulation, group work, and coaching, participants will learn from the faculty and from their peers. Once participants complete a course, they graduate with a network of peers and faculty as future sounding boards and coaches.
Executive education programs are taught by a select group of faculty who have received teaching accolades from the MBA population. Each faculty also has relevant experience outside of academic research through consulting, work experience, or other project work. All of our programs contain fewer than 35 participants, so participants receive personalized attention from faculty. Below is a selected faculty list that teach in our open enrollment programs
Rice University Executive Education believes that for working managers, the best courses are those that provide actionable steps upon return to work. Through a variety of learning methods, faculty seek not only to provide their own experience and expertise, but also to capitalize on the knowledge of the participant group. Case study, simulation, assessment, coaching, and small group work create an environment where the learning is co-created by all in the classroom.
All participants in Rice University Executive Education courses are permitted to join our LinkedIn group and are invited to future school events, including executive speakers and student-run conferences. In addition our graduates of the Accelerated Development Program are provided a subscription to the Jones Journal and are invited to our annual reunion.
