Sue K. Oldham

Executive Director, MBA Recruiting & Admissions

Sue Oldham is the Executive Director of Recruiting and Admissions for all three MBA programs here at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.  She joined the Jones School in 2008.  Prior to her job at Rice, Ms. Oldham had a 10 year career in information technology consulting spanning several companies and cities from Los Angeles to Charlotte to Dallas.  Sue earned a BA in English at Rice University and an MBA in Marketing from Vanderbilt University, Owen Graduate School of Management.  As an alumna of Rice University, Sue has been an active and involved member of the university.  She is the current President of the Association of Rice Alumni (ARA) and has served on the Rice University Alumni Board of Directors in 2010-2013.  She and her husband Ted (a fellow Rice University alumnus) have continued their involvement with Rice through various organizations including: Rice Laureates Committee, Annual Fund Chairs, Homecoming Chairs, 20th Reunion Planning Committee, ARA Nominating Committee, Staff Advisory Committee, RiceFest Chair. Sue’s community involvement is extensive as she continues to be very involved with leadership positions at her church, children’s schools, and neighborhood.  Sue currently serves on the board of directors for Camp Cho-Yeh, the Houston Arboretum and  Avondale House.
