Marilyn Cordovi is an adjunct Lecturer in Management at the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business. In this role, she teaches communications courses in the full time MBA program and facilitates workshops and courses across all MBA tracks. Prior to joining Rice faculty, she taught business, communications, and marketing courses full and part time at higher education institutions in Texas and Michigan. Additionally, Marilyn has an active career as a marketing communications executive working with both B2B and B2C clients, building strategically driven and creatively inspired multimedia campaigns. Her experience encompasses a wide range of products and fields, including education, high technology, industrial, retail, consumer package goods, health care, and more. She has worked for companies of all sizes, from start-ups to large, world-renowned firms, including multiple years as principal of her own marketing communications consultancy. Marilyn has garnered numerous professional awards in advertising, marketing, and public relations. She holds a B.A. in Linguistics and an M.S.J. in Advertising from Northwestern University, as well as an M.B.A. and a graduate certificate in E-Business Management from the University of Houston.
