National and international eyes on Rice as Bloomberg TV broadcasts live Wednesday
The financial cable network Bloomberg TV will broadcast live from Rice University from 7 to 9 a.m. March 3.
Bloomberg's "In the Loop with Betty Liu" is doing a series of shows on the road to highlight how major U.S. cities are recovering from the recession. The Rice broadcast will focus on energy issues. Jones Graduate School of Business Dean Bill Glick is scheduled to be a guest at 7:50 a.m.
The host will also interview several high-profile energy leaders who will be on campus for the Jones School's third annual Energy Industry Directors Conference, an education program designed for board members of energy and chemical companies.
Bloomberg TV is a 24-hour global network dedicated to providing viewers with business and financial news. It is broadcast globally and reaches more than 200 million homes worldwide.
Bloomberg-TV's 'In the Loop'
William Glick, dean of the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business, and Douglas Foshee, a member of the Rice Board of Trustees, were interviewed during a live, two-hour broadcast by Bloomberg Television from Rice's James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy this morning. Because of length, the broadcast is divided into four links. Foshee appears during the second link; Glick appears during the third link.
