Wei Shi is a doctoral student in strategic management at the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. His research interests include emerging economies, top management teams, corporate governance, strategic alliances, and innovation.
He received a B.A. in English Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University. Prior to pursuing a doctoral degree, he had worked as assistant to the president of a multinational Chinese firm for several years.
He is a member of the Academy of Management, International Association of Chinese Management Research, and Southern Management Association.
