To the many recruiters already partnered with Rice University, thank you for your commitment; to those of you unfamiliar with recruiting at the Jones Graduate School of Business, we invite you to explore your hiring opportunities with us and discover the breadth and depth of our students and school.

Despite a tough hiring environment, the talent and experience of our graduates continue to draw employers from all over the world. The unique classroom experience and innovative curriculum of our school produce quality graduates with strong analytical skills and broad business experience. Along with our areas of excellence in energy, entrepreneurship, real estate and health care, students excel in functional areas, such as market research and strategy consulting.

It is with the immense support from the dean and the administration at the Jones School that the Career Management Center (CMC) is able to be resourceful and creative in delivering innovative services to our students and alumni. Online initiatives such as webinars, workshops, podcasts and social networking reach all levels of the Jones School community to help them develop the skills necessary to succeed.

The Employment Trends Committee offers unique opportunities to increase the breadth of recruiting. Benefits to participating companies include the opportunity to network across the committee, to obtain industry information regarding MBA hiring trends, and the ability to source more talent from Rice University. Companies that have agreed to participate include Chevron, Continental Airlines, ConocoPhillips, Cooper Industries, Ernst & Young, ExxonMobil, Deloitte FAS and Kalypso Consulting.

The Jones School is the lead academic sponsor of the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) conference and hosts its national headquarters. NAWMBA is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering graduate women in business in order to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation’s workforce.
