Kim-Kay Randt is director of Pricing, Global Marketing for ConocoPhillips.
Randt joined the company in Lake Charles, LA., in 1987 as an analyst on the Transportation Management Development Program. She held operational and corporate positions in transportation, later transfering into analytical roles in the crude trading and product trading organizations. She moved back into an operational role in retail marketing in 1996, and then began working directly with wholesale customers from a corporate role in the wholesale marketing department. Kim-Kay spear-headed the creation of the company’s first extranet to share data and information with the wholesale customer base in early 2000, and later became a certified Six-Sigma black belt. Her next role in stragetic planning exposed her to the West Coast operations, before moving into branded credit cards in June, 2008. She started her current role in wholesale pricing of branded motor fuels in September, 2010.
She has been active in education-related edeavors, either through her son’s school or her own alma maters, by serving on the Rice Business School Alunmi Board, the Kappa Delta Alumnae Houston Chapter, and the Houston Symphony League. She also maintains an international travel schedule to learn about the world first hand, guided by a goal of reaching a country count of 100 (currently at 80).
Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Randt earned a bachelor’s degree in international management from Oklahoma State University in 1987, and an M.B.A. from Rice University’s Jessie H. Jones Graduate School of Business in 2007.
