Admission Requirements

• Discuss your post-MBA career goals and how your work experience has influenced these goals. Include in your discussion: "Why an MBA at this time?" and "The industry or functional area you plan to pursue at the completion of your MBA." (Maximum 750 words)
  
  
• Describe a team experience where your leadership and interpersonal skills directly affected the outcome of the project. How will this experience impact your contribution as a team member at the Jones School? (Maximum 750 words)
  
  
• Choose one of the following three essays (Maximum 750 words)


• Describe a defining moment or event that changed your life. Include its impact on you and how it may have altered your view of the world.
  
  
• If you took out a one-page advertisement of yourself in a magazine, what would it look like and what would the headline be? In which magazine would it be, and why?
  
  
• What literary character best represents you and why?
  
  
•  Professional or Academic resume submitted online.

• One confidential evaluation submitted online or mailed to our office. Evaluations should be written by individuals who have known you professionally, and can attest to your potential as an MBA candidate. Specific and detailed insights on your administrative and/or academic performance should offer a well-rounded perspective on your professional history.

Course Requirements

• 63 hours of coursework including 24 in an engineering discipline and 39 in business administration
  
  
• All core requirements of the MBA program
  
  
• All requirements of the specific engineering department (nonthesis degree options are available)
  
  
• Summer internships are strongly recommended
  
  
• Course schedules are planned in consultation with the MBA program and the specific engineering department
  
  
• All requirements can be fulfilled in two years
