Kim Denney is a partner at Newport Board Group, providing value to Emerging Growth companies as a 'CEO Whisperer.' She came to Newport Board Group after 30 successful years leading ever-larger manufacturing, pipeline, and chemicals businesses within large, multi-national corporations. Ms. Denney works with President/CEOs and boards to accelerate profitable growth by focusing on alignment, and assuring people and processes mesh with the strategic vision of the company. Ms. Denney graduated from University of Missouri-Rolla with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. She was awarded her Master of Business Administration from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.
Ms. Denney currently serves as a board director of the Wesley Community Center (Finance Chair/Treasurer), Methodist Retirement Communities (Vice Chair), and the advisory board of the Houston Chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs. She was honored to be named a 2012 'Woman on the Move' by the Texas Executive Women.
