Jay Adkins

Jay is a manager in Chevron’s strategy organization responsible for developing and executing Chevron’s greenhouse gas mitigation plans. On the Jones Partners board, he is the VP and chairman of the Corporate Committee which strengthens the relationships between the Jones School and the corporate members of the Jones Partners. Jay joined Chevron in 2008 as a manager in the fuels strategy organization, responsible for the development of long-term outlooks and strategies for the fuels business. Prior to Chevron, Jay spent seven years as a management consultant with BearingPoint and Arthur Andersen. He began his career as a control systems engineer and held positions in engineering and sales management at Honeywell.

Jay received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Duke University in 1990 and an MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Business in 2001. Jay and his wife Jessica live in Houston with their two daughters.
