Taneshia (“T”) Canady Barton is the Founder & CEO of BlackBoxx | Custom & Couture Care Packages, while maintaining her leadership position in ThinkPower, Inc. (a Project Management consultancy). A native Texan, born and raised in Dallas, Ms. Barton’s roles as a business leader, philanthropist, dotting wife, and mother have led her to focus her efforts on her passion: giving back. With BlackBoxx, Taneshia and her team partner with other businesses to develop branded programs for Institutions, Sales, Marketing, and HR departments while sharing great products with the world and giving back to worthy causes. Ms. Barton has an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, an MBA from Rice University, and holds her Project Management Certification (PMP). She is currently President of JGSEO, on the Jones Graduate School Alumni Association Board, a Class Ambassador, and involved in the World Youth Foundation, and Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association. She was a 2010 recipient of the Jones Citizenship Award and M.A. “Mike” Wright Award.

Craig Ceccanti is a founding member and CEO of Pinot’s Palette. As a pioneer in the newly developed and rapidly expanding Paint and Sip industry, Craig has directed an innovative start-up business with one location to a concept which is now over a hundred and fifty locations in the U.S. and international markets.
Emma Fauss ‘13
Medical informatics Corp.
Dr. Fauss is the CEO and a co-founder of Medical informatics Corp. She has worked extensively in Healthcare analytics since 2010. Her recent work includes a partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital that has focused on assessing and improving alarm management by using high resolution data to drive decisions. As a previous Rice Alliance and DFJ Mercury Venture Fellow, Dr. Fauss has been actively involved in strategy consulting with early stage entrepreneurs in the Texas Medical Center as well as Rice University. Dr. Fauss received her BE degree in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union, her PhD from the University of Virginia in Electrical and Computer Engineering and her MBA from Rice University with a concentration in healthcare.

Lauren Thompson is the CEO and Co-Founder of A-76 Technologies, a corrosion inhibitor and lubricants manufacturing company, which she started while a MBA student at Rice University. At Rice, Lauren led her team through several business plan competitions, ultimately winning approximately $600,000 in total prizes. Prior to starting at Rice, Lauren managed economic development programs in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Lauren graduated from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University in 2014 and holds a BA in International Relations with an Economics minor from The College of William and Mary.

Gita is the President of Avinta Services which was founded in 2008. Avinta Services provides setup, optimization and training of Salesforce.com to small-to-medium sized businesses. Among over 200+ clients, Avinta has serviced Halliburton, Avaya, Aramark, USAA, Sungard, The Hartford Group, Staples and RigNet. Prior to Avinta Services, Gita worked in marketing and sales for GT Nexus, Beckman Coulter and Verizon. Gita obtained her undergraduate degree from University of Texas and her MBA from Rice University. She is a board member for Women In Technology and the National Association of Women.
