PhD in Business Program
The PhD Program will begin accepting applications in the Marketing, Finance, and Accounting areas in the Fall of 2014 for Fall 2015 admissions. We strive to maintain a low ratio of PhD students to faculty to provide the best opportunity for PhD student education, mentoring, and research. Consistent with this philosophy, the strategic management faculty members have decided not to recruit PhD students for 2015-2016 to preserve the personal attention given to PhD students. Applications will be accepted in Strategic Management and Organizational Behavior in the future.

A prospective student chooses an area of study when applying to the doctoral program. Areas of study include: (1) Accounting, (2) Finance, (3) Marketing, (4) Organizational Behavior, and (5) Strategic Management. Each of these areas is supervised by a faculty advisor, a member of the faculty specializing in that area. These area advisors supervise the evaluation of applications to their respective areas, counsel new students on the curriculum in that area and how to plan their course of study, and serve as advisors to all the students in their respective areas throughout their course of study. The application deadline for Fall 2014 admissions has passed. The PhD Program will begin accepting applications in the Marketing, Finance, and Accounting areas in the Fall of 2014 for Fall 2015 admissions. Applications will be accepted in Organizational Behavior and Strategic Management in the future. All application materials must be received by January 12, 2015. We strongly advise applicants to submit the online application and supporting materials 2-3 weeks prior to the January 12th deadline.
