Laura Hubbard Appointed Jones School Director of Marketing Communications

HOUSTON, June 14, 2006—Following an extensive search, Laura Hubbard has been named the new director of marketing communications for the Jones School. For the past two years, she has served as the director of operations and marketing for the Jones School Executive Education and MBA for Executives programs. Laura has been instrumental in the development of new marketing strategies that have enhanced the visibility of both programs. In addition to her Jones School experience, Laura has over 20 years of senior management experience in marketing and communications in major health care institutions and advertising agencies. She also owned her own marketing and public relations firm. Laura brings extensive marketing experience and a strong sense of client service that will assist in propelling the Jones School’s image, brand and message to our many stakeholders.
 
She is looking forward to collaborating with department directors, students, alumni, faculty and staff in promoting the Rice MBA programs. Laura expressed great enthusiasm about assuming this position “in an environment that I enjoy and with people I know and respect.”
