Rice MBA Students form Hispanic Business Student Association
HOUSTON, March 28, 2006—Rice MBA students from the class of 2007 have founded the Hispanic Business Student Association (HBSA) at the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, Rice University. The mission of the HBSA is to provide students with professional guidance related to Hispanic issues, with the purpose of:
- Facilitating professional development, academic excellence, and networking opportunities for all members
- Providing social outreach opportunities within the Hispanic society by organizing community service and social awareness projects
- Assisting the Jones Graduate School of Management in identifying and recruiting qualified Hispanic / Latino candidates for admission to the Rice MBA programs.
