Laura Wright Selected as NAWMBA National Director
HOUSTON, March 7, 2006—Laura E. Wright, Rice MBA Class of ’07, has been selected National Association for Women MBAs (NAWMBA) national director for 2006-2007. Kimberly Brown and the National NAWMBA selected Wright after what they said was a very competitive search for a national director.
“We are very happy that Laura has chosen to dedicate her talents to leading NAWMBA into the next successful year,” said Kimberly Brown, Rice MBA Class of 2006 and national director of NAWMBA 2005-2006.
The National Association for Women MBAs is dedicated to supporting and promoting women MBAs. The executive team, including the director and several vice presidents, are all Jones School MBAs who volunteer their support and dedication to the mission of the NAWMBA while completing their own MBAs. Rice University serves as the current headquarters for the NAWMBA.
