at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. Bill teaches some of the most popular elective classes including the geopolitics of energy
and managing energy transitions
Previously, as Royal Dutch Shell’s Washington Director of International Government Relations and Senior Counsel for the Middle East, Latin America, and North Africa, Bill engaged at the highest levels of government in the US and abroad to provide geopolitical insights, develop business strategies, build scenarios, and advance multi-billion dollar projects. He had been with Shell since 1993.
His international banking experience includes executive-level positions with First City National Bank-Houston and Texas Commerce Bancshares (now JPMorganChase) as well as COMIND International Banking Corporation (now Banco do Brasil). It is this real-world corporate and global professional experience that Bill brings to the classroom along with his unique and highly engaging teaching methodology.
