Rice MBA Ranks 25 Nationally in US News

Grad School Rankings - US NewsRice University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is among the top 25 full-time MBA programs in the nation, according to new graduate school rankings from U.S. News and World Report. The program rose nine spots from last year to claim the No. 25 spot.

“Today’s ranking from U.S. News and World Report reflects our long-term success in increasing research productivity and impact, graduates’ career success, programmatic excellence and student selectivity,” said Bill Glick, dean of Rice’s Jones Graduate School of Business. “The Rice MBA jump in this ranking is most influenced by the increased recognition of our programs among our peer schools and higher average salary and bonuses for our graduates.”

The national rankings for Rice’s Professional MBA and Entrepreneurship remain the same, at 21 and 14, respectively.

"We are really excited in our performance and have engaged in many activities that elevate our profile among peer institutions,” added Sean Ferguson, assistant dean for degree programs at the Jones School. “With our faculty serving on highly regarded academic and editorial boards, the dean and numerous staff members serving on leadership boards — this has had a great impact on helping us tell our story...which we believe is a great story. ”

The Rice MBA Full-Time Program provides students with a comprehensive MBA learning experience that combines specialized course work and real-world experience to improve and amplify their strategy, leadership and creative credentials.
