Executive Director of Marketing and Communications - The Executive Director of Marketing and Communications for the Jones Graduate School of Business (JGSB) is responsible for marketing JGSB to a broad range of stakeholders. Primary goals are focused on business development (attracting quality applications to degree and non-degree programs), enhancing the brand consistent reputation of the school, and engaging and communicating the school’s stories, programs, services and values to internal and external stakeholders. JGSB stakeholders include: faculty, staff, students, prospective students, recruiters, alumni, donors; the Council of Overseers, Board of Trustees, Jones Partners, the Houston and national business community, the news media, government, other business schools and institutions of higher education, the surrounding community, and the general public. The Executive Director of Marketing and Communications reports to the dean and plays a leading role in developing marketing strategy to support business development initiatives throughout the school and analyzing and influencing perceptions of the Jones School with a goal of enhancing the brand.

Director of Development II - The Director of Development will oversee major gift fundraising efforts and manage a portfolio of major gift prospects at the $100k + level. This position will be responsible for developing and executing the fundraising strategy for funding priorities in conjunction with a dean(s), program chair(s) and/or faculty at the Jones Graduate School of Business (JGSB) in support of the University-wide capital campaign. This position will work closely and in collaboration with other team members within the JGSB and the central resource development division and reports to the Assistant Dean, External Relations.

Education Technology Specialist - As a member of the Jones Graduate School Educational Technology group, the Education Technology Specialist will collaborate with the Educational Technology Manager on curriculum- based technology development and classroom projects while being responsible for the day-to-day operations. This person will assist and support faculty and staff in the development of Web-based courses utilizing instructional technologies and advise faculty on digital course redesign and the development appropriate teaching/learning applications of technologies. S/he will also be responsible for digital media production edits, and transcoding of classrooms. Additionally, the Educational Technology Specialist is responsible for assisting with audio visual projects, trouble shooting, system and component installation, assistance with student recording, and other educational technology projects.
