Rice NAWMBAs Hosts Sixth Annual Women in Leadership Conference February 3
HOUSTON, January 6, 2006—On Friday, February 3, the Rice chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs will host their Sixth Annual Women In Leadership Conference at McNair Hall. The theme for this year’s event is “Developing a Fitness Plan for Our Professional and Personal Lives.” The day will feature three keynote speakers – Dr. Taryn Rose, founder and president of Taryn Rose International; Lisa LeMaster, president and founder of The LeMaster Group, Ltd.; and Nancy E. Thomas, partner - Global and Americas Leader IBM Business Consulting Services, as well as several panel sessions covering different issues women may face in their careers.
The conference serves as a forum for women to interact with dynamic speakers on business topics, network with local contacts, and enrich individual and occupational pursuits.
Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. and the day-long conference will include continental breakfast, lunch, a closing reception, and parking. Fees for are $10 NAWMBA members, $15 for non-NAWMBA students, $50 for early-birds (by January 20), and $60 for full conference and on-site registration.
