Jones Graduate School Receives Its Highest National Ranking from Financial Times
Monday, January 25, 2010 – The Rice MBA Full-Time program at the Jones Graduate School of Business was ranked 4th in the world in the category ‘Top for Finance,’ according to the 2010 Financial
Times Global MBA ranking released on January 25th.
The school was recognized as 21st among U.S. business schools and 44th globally. Both rankings are higher than in previous years and move Rice into first place in Texas and in the Southwest. The national placement represents an all-time high for Rice .
The publication lists the top 100 full-time MBA programs worldwide, 55 of which are based in the US. The rankings are based on data collected from alumni three years post graduation and from the business school. Key metrics include alumni salaries and career development, the diversity and international reach of the MBA programs, and the research capacity of the school.
Times ranking is an appropriate indicator of alumni success and reflects the trajectory of graduates’ careers. It also mirrors the contribution of faculty research.
