Delivering patient-focused care is the primary pillar of every health care organization’s strategy. In the midst of potentially game-changing reform with rising costs and uncertain outcomes within the health care industry, the foundation of patient care becomes even more fundamental.
Targeting clinicians, managers, and executives in the health care industry, the 2009 Health care Symposium will bring key insights from the business world to health care organizations. Over the past decade, the Jones Graduate School of Business has graduated hundreds of professionals with essential business skills who have contributed to virtually every major health care organization in Houston. A Certificate in Health care and Medical Management and a dual MD/MBA degree — both in partnership with Baylor College of Medicine — are among some of the educational options chosen by clinicians and administrators to sharpen their business skills.
