Kathryn Young earned a Master of Business Administration from the Jones School in 2004 and graduated with honors from Ohio University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration. Most recently, she was Vice President of Operations for Sirius Solutions (an international professional services firm) and led business planning, finance, human resources, technology, and other administrative activities.
Prior to Sirius, she was Director of Business Planning & Analysis and Chief Internal Auditor at Bush Brothers & Company in Knoxville, TN. Kathryn’s professional career started with
Waste Management, Inc. where she enjoyed a variety of roles including responsibility for business unit profitability, strategic business planning, financial analysis, and startup operations. She has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1991.
Kathryn is the current Board President of the Jones Graduate School Alumni Association. She is a judge for the Rice Alliance Business Plan Competition and serves as a mentor to students at the Jones School. Kathryn currently resides in Houston.
