The Rice Marketing Club is dedicated to employing Jones Graduate School of Business students in a broad range of marketing careers. Every year, the network of Jones School marketers expands and the opportunities for employment expand.
Throughout the year the club hosts events to prepare students for the career search, provide networking opportunities, enrich the MBA experience, and enhance the reputation of the Jones School.

Events
The
2013 Rice MBA Marketing Case Competition will take place on
April 6th at the Jones Graduate School of Business. Students from all major MBA programs in Texas will be invited to participate. More details about the event will be updated throughout the semester. Until then, here is a brief overview of what you can expect during the competition and last year’s results:
Last year, the 2012 Rice MBA Marketing Case Competition was held on Friday and Saturday, February 10-11 with a case study provided by Cameron. The Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University hosted eight teams comprised of 4-5 MBA students from
Rice University,
University of Houston,
Texas Southern University and
University of Texas Austin. Teams worked overnight on the case and presented before a panel of judges comprised of Cameron executives and Rice University faculty. Cash prizes were awarded to the three winning teams from gold sponsor Cameron and silver sponsors Rice University and Vivian L. Smith Foundation.

We encourage all MBA students to participate in the event, as it is a great way to network with leading business executives, build valuable marketing and strategy skills and win some great cash prizes.
