Jones Alum DeNicola '87 named CFO of KBR
On June 18, 2008, T. Kevin DeNicola was named the new Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of KBR, Inc., a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. In this position, DeNicola’s responsibilities will include oversight of KBR’s treasury, accounting and finance, investor relations, tax and internal audit operations.
DeNicola’s diverse experience in financial and business operations spans 30 years. Most recently, he served as CFO for six years at Houston-based Lyondell Chemical Company (now LyondellBasell Industries.) His 16-year tenure at Lyondell included numerous executive positions in corporate development, investor relations, and finance. Prior to joining Lyondell, he was an Associate at Criterion Venture Partners and a Tax and Audit Accountant in the Entrepreneurial Services Group at Ernst & Young. His career began at Monsanto Company in operations and engineering support roles.
DeNicola is an active member of the Jones School community. In addition to serving as an Adjunct Professor of Management, he has an endowed scholarship in his name, and is Chairman of the Jones Fund, the annual fund that supports the school.
DeNicola has an MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Management, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, and a B.S. in chemistry from High Point University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Board of Directors of Comerica, Inc. where he serves as Vice Chairman of the Audit Committee.
