Rice offers computer training for high school freshmen

Next week, Rice University will offer computer training to about 100 high school freshmen from the new Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School of Houston, a prep school for students from economically disadvantaged families. The school has an innovative educational model where the students have longer school days and work one day per week at entry-level positions in corporations throughout Houston.
