Shaheen Ladhani Named Associate Director of Alumni Engagement
Shaheen Ladhani is the new associate director of Alumni Engagement at the Jones School. Ladhani is a Rice graduate, and has remained as an engaged alumnus since.
Previously, Ladhani was an as assistant director of development for the major gifts regional team at Rice. His responsibilities included the identification of potential donors, cultivating relationships with donors and alumni, and solicitation and stewardship. He serves on several committees including the branding and marketing of the 2012 Centennial Campaign and the Alumni Recognition committees as the development representative.
Also, Ladhani served as assistant men’s tennis coach at Rice and director of the Rice Tennis Club. In 2004, he was named “National Coach of the Year.” He is the founder of AccessToPeakPerformance which delivers individual mental skills training and team building workshops. He was also founder, president, and CEO of the “Kids on Court” foundation which brings tennis to at-risk children in Houston.
Ladhani received a B.A. in Psychology and Managerial Studies from Rice and an M.S. in Performance Psychology from the University of Houston.
