In 2009, Entrepreneur magazine and the Princeton Review ranked the Jones School 5th nationally for its graduate entrepreneurship programs. The school is also home to the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, Rice University's initiative devoted to the support of technology entrepreneurship. The Rice Alliance invites all graduate business school teams to compete in the annual Rice Business Plan Competition, recently recognized as one of the richest, largest, and most competitive academic business plan competitions in the world by Fortune Small Business.
