When Will the Students be Available to Work on the Action Learning Project?
Action Learning Projects challenge students with the equivalent of a full time course load. From the company's time perspective, students should be considered consultants, rather than 40-hour-per-week employees. Students attend class on weekday evenings, in addition to the considerable number of hours they devote to the project both on- and off-site. Library research and periodic meetings with faculty mentors also comprise a significant amount of time worked on the project. During this time period, they may also need to attend summer internship interviews.
